Product Description

The original 7.92x57mm Mauser rounds manufactured in Russia at Factory 11 are rare and historically significant items from the mid-20th century. Produced to the specifications of the 7.92x57mm Mauser, or 8mm Mauser cartridge, these rounds were designed for powerful performance, offering high muzzle velocity, accuracy, and effective range. Although the 7.92x57mm was originally a German design used extensively during both World Wars, the cartridge was adopted by various countries, including Russia, during the Cold War to support allied forces equipped with Mauser rifles and compatible machine guns.

Factory 11’s production of these rounds reflects Russian wartime and post-war manufacturing capabilities, producing reliable ammunition for Soviet and allied forces. Featuring a Spitzer (pointed) bullet design, these rounds provided a flat trajectory and effective range, suitable for the battlefield or training environments.

Collectors today value Russian-made 7.92x57mm rounds from Factory 11 for their rarity and the unique Cold War-era history they represent. They serve as fascinating artifacts that illustrate the widespread use of the Mauser cartridge well beyond Germany and its continued importance in global military history. Ideal for historical display or collections, these rounds offer insight into Russian munitions production and Eastern Bloc support strategies
