Product Description
An original inert German 9×19mm Parabellum cartridge bearing the ak St 6 1945 headstamp. This is a genuine late-Second World War military cartridge manufactured for the Wehrmacht during the final months of the war.
The ak manufacturer code identifies Sellier & Bellot, Vlašim (Wlaschim), Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia. After the German occupation of Czechoslovakia in 1939, the Sellier & Bellot factory was taken over and incorporated into the German war economy, becoming a major supplier of 9mm Parabellum ammunition for the Wehrmacht.

The St marking indicates a steel cartridge case, introduced to conserve brass during the latter years of the war. By 1945, the majority of German 9mm military ammunition was produced with steel cases due to shortages of strategic materials.
This cartridge would have been issued for use in Germany's principal 9mm service weapons, including:

- Walther P38
- MP38
- MP40
- Other German weapons chambered for the 9×19mm Parabellum cartridge
Late-war 1945 dated cartridges are particularly desirable because they represent the final period of German ammunition production before the collapse of the Third Reich. Production at the Vlašim factory continued briefly after liberation using remaining German components before reverting to Czechoslovak control.
