Original Inert German 7.92×57mm Mauser Cartridge
An original inert German 7.92×57mm Mauser rifle cartridge manufactured in 1936 during Germany's pre-war rearmament programme.
This cartridge features the early P headstamp used by Polte Armaturen- und Maschinenfabrik A.G. of Magdeburg, one of Germany's largest and most important military ammunition manufacturers. Before the introduction of the later numbered P-codes and three-letter factory codes, Polte used the simple P manufacturer mark on its military ammunition.
