An original inert German 7.92×57mm Mauser rifle cartridge manufactured in 1943 for the German Wehrmacht.
The fb manufacturer code identifies Metallwarenfabrik Treuenbrietzen GmbH, one of Germany's principal wartime ammunition manufacturers. During the war, this factory produced millions of 7.92×57mm cartridges for issue to German infantry and machine-gun units.
