Product Description

The Kynoch .577 Nitro Brass Cartridge Case is a remarkable artifact from the golden age of big-game hunting and firearm innovation. Manufactured by Kynoch, a prestigious British ammunition company renowned for its high-quality cartridges, this brass case was designed for use in the legendary .577 Nitro Express rifle.

The .577 Nitro Express was developed in the late 19th century as a powerful cartridge for large and dangerous game hunting, particularly in Africa and India. Its massive case was engineered to accommodate a large powder charge, delivering the energy needed to take down the most formidable animals, such as elephants and Cape buffalo.

This brass cartridge case is deactivated and contains no live primer, propellant, or bullet, making it completely safe for handling and display. The case is well-preserved, with clean surfaces and clearly stamped markings that reflect its Kynoch heritage. Its substantial size and weight make it a striking addition to any collection.

Perfect for collectors of vintage ammunition, firearm enthusiasts, or historians of colonial-era hunting, the INERT Kynoch .577 Nitro Brass Cartridge Case is a tangible piece of history. Its association with classic safari rifles and big-game expeditions ensures its enduring appeal and significance.
