Product Description

Original inert WW1 German 7.92×57 Mauser cartridge with “DM 15 1 S” headstamp, manufactured in 1915 by Deutsche Waffen- und Munitionsfabriken (DM), Germany.

The headstamp “DM 15 1 S” identifies this as an Imperial German military S-Patrone spitzer loading produced during the First World War for use in the Gewehr 98 and other German service rifles.

DWM was one of Germany’s most important wartime ammunition manufacturers and supplied enormous quantities of ammunition to the Imperial German Army during WW1.

This example features the classic pointed cupro-nickel projectile associated with early German military ammunition before later wartime material changes.

An excellent and highly collectible original WW1 German Mauser cartridge with strong markings and historical military significance.
