Original inert 7.62×51 NATO cartridge with FNM 95-05 L37A1 markings, manufactured by Fábrica Nacional de Munições (FNM), Portugal for military use.
This cartridge represents NATO-standard 7.62 ammunition produced during the modern Cold War / post-Cold War period, with the L37A1 designation associated with British military specification ammunition.
FNM was a major European ammunition producer supplying both domestic and NATO-contract military ammunition. The 7.62 NATO cartridge became one of the world’s most widely used military calibres, employed in weapons such as the L1A1 SLR, GPMG, FN FAL, and precision rifle systems.
Featuring the classic bottleneck 7.62 NATO case design and military headstamp format, this example makes an excellent addition to any modern military ammunition collection, NATO display, or headstamp reference set.
