Product Description

  1. This original inert 6.5mm Swedish Mauser cartridge with P 95 4 headstamp is a genuine example of Swedish military ammunition, widely used throughout the 20th century. The 6.5x55mm Swedish Mauser cartridge was the standard service round for the Swedish and Norwegian armed forces and is closely associated with the iconic Swedish Mauser rifles, including the Model 1896 and later variants.

The “P 95 4” headstamp identifies the cartridge as produced at the Swedish Powder & Cartridge Factory (Tändkulefabriken / Swedish Powder & Cartridge Factory) in 1895 production series, offering collectors insight into its historical and manufacturing context. The 6.5mm calibre is renowned for its accuracy, mild recoil, and excellent long-range performance, making it a favourite among military marksmen and sporting shooters alike.

This inert round retains its original brass case, clearly stamped head, and authentic military finish. It has been professionally deactivated and contains no live primer or propellant, making it completely safe for handling, display, or educational purposes.
