Product Description

  1. This inert 6.5×55mm Swedish Mauser cartridge, bearing the headstamp “5‑6 35”, is a genuine piece of Swedish military history. Manufactured in 1935, it was designed for use in Swedish Mauser rifles such as the m/94 and m/96 series, and later rifles like the Ag m/42. The headstamp code “5‑6” identifies the factory or production facility, while the “35” indicates the year of manufacture.

Renowned for its precision, reliability, and mild recoil, the 6.5×55mm round was Sweden’s standard military rifle cartridge from the late 19th century through the mid-20th century. This particular inert example contains no powder or live primer, making it completely safe for handling, display, or historical reenactments.

Collectors value these cartridges for their interwar production date, authentic military markings, and historical context. Whether displayed in a Mauser rifle, on a shelf alongside other military ammunition, or as part of a broader Swedish militaria collection, this 1935 cartridge offers a tangible connection to Sweden’s military heritage.

Its durable brass casing, clear headstamp, and historical significance make it a must-have for enthusiasts of military history, firearms, and vintage ammunition. A perfect collectible for display or study.
