Product Description

This original inert 7.62mm NATO ball round, dated 1975 and marked with the RA headstamp, is an excellent example of Cold War–period military ammunition. Produced during a time of extensive NATO standardisation, RA-marked cartridges were manufactured to meet alliance-wide requirements for reliability, consistency, and interchangeability across a wide range of service weapons.

The 7.62×51 NATO cartridge was one of the most widely used military rounds of the era, chambered in rifles and machine guns such as the FN FAL, G3, M14, and various general-purpose machine guns. This round has been fully and professionally deactivated to UK standards, preserving its original components and external appearance while being completely safe for display, handling, and long-term collection.

This is an inert .303 British cartridge, manufactured in 1916 by RA – Royal Arsenal, Woolwich, UK. Produced during the height of the First World War, this round is an authentic example of early British military ammunition. Fully deactivated and UK-legal, it is safe for handling, display, and educational use. The clear RA 16 headstamp identifies its WWI production, making it a desirable piece for collectors of Great War artifacts, ammunition historians, and anyone building a reference collection of early .303 service rounds. Its age, markings, and preserved brass case give it strong historical and display appeal.
