Product Description
The British WW2 Pacific Star was a campaign medal awarded to British and Commonwealth military personnel for service in the Pacific theater during World War II. The medal was established by the United Kingdom in 1945 and was awarded for operational service between 8 December 1941 and 2 September 1945.
The Pacific Star was one of several campaign medals issued by the British government during and after World War II. It was typically awarded to military personnel who served in the Pacific theater of war, which included areas such as Burma, Malaya, the East Indies, and the Pacific islands. To qualify for the medal, a soldier had to have completed six months of operational service in the Pacific, or two months of operational service if the soldier was wounded in action.
