A rare early war example, with a clear 1915 date
The 1915 Dated Sam Browne Belt is a vintage military belt that was issued to officers in the British Army during World War II. The Sam Browne Belt was named after British General Sir Samuel Browne, who first wore the belt in the 19th century. The belt was designed to be worn over the shoulder and around the waist and was used to carry a variety of items such as a sword, pistol, and ammunition pouches.
The 1915 Dated Sam Browne Belt is made of leather and features a brass buckle and fittings. The belt is adjustable to fit the wearer's waist,
