Product Description

The British 1942 40mm Cartridge Case, repurposed as trench art for flowers, is a poignant relic from World War II. Originally designed to house anti-aircraft or tank ammunition, this brass cartridge case was creatively cut down and transformed by soldiers or civilians into a vase for flowers. This form of trench art reflects the human need for beauty and normalcy amid the horrors of war. The craftsmanship often includes intricate engravings or personal touches, making each piece unique. Today, these pieces are treasured by collectors for their historical significance and as symbols of resilience and creativity during wartime
