Product Description

The French AA52 7.62mm disintegrating link is a purpose-made steel ammunition link used to belt-feed 7.62×51mm cartridges in AA-52/AAT-52 and AANF1 machine guns. Built to military tolerances, each link secures a single cartridge in a durable, interlocking chain that cleanly disintegrates as the weapon cycles, leaving individual links to fall away. These links are prized by collectors, reenactors, museums, and prop-makers for their authentic French tooling marks and correct feed geometry. Supplied as loose stock or pre-linked strips, they are typically found in once-fired but serviceable condition — buyers should inspect for corrosion, bent prongs or heavy wear. Note these are inert metal links only; no live ammunition or primers are included. They are not universally interchangeable with other NATO link types, so compatibility should be checked if you intend mechanical use in restorations or displays. Ideal uses include museum display belts, static vehicle mounts, historical reenactment props, and themed art or craft projects. When purchasing, confirm quantity, condition, and whether links have been cleaned or de-primed for transport. Always follow local laws and import rules for military surplus items. The AA52 link adds authentic mechanical detail and period accuracy to any French-military collection.
