A superb military-style display set comprising 5 inert .308 / 7.62×51mm NATO cartridges with FC headstamps, mounted in an original-style M13 disintegrating machine gun link.
The FC headstamp identifies manufacture by Federal Cartridge Company (Federal Premium Ammunition), USA, one of the best-known modern ammunition manufacturers. The 7.62×51mm NATO calibre became the standard NATO rifle and machine gun cartridge during the Cold War era and remains widely used today in military and law enforcement service weapons.
Mounted in an authentic M13 disintegrating link, this set closely resembles linked ammunition belts used in weapons such as the FN MAG / GPMG, M60, and M240 machine gun systems. The linked presentation gives the set strong military display appeal and makes it an excellent addition to any ammunition or militaria collection.
