Product Description

This original inert RWS 6.5x52R cartridge is a fine example of German sporting and hunting ammunition produced by the prestigious Rheinisch-Westfälische Sprengstoff (RWS). Renowned for precision engineering and high manufacturing standards, RWS has supplied ammunition for both civilian and professional use since the late 19th century.

The 6.5x52R calibre is a rimmed rifle cartridge primarily associated with European hunting rifles, particularly break-action and combination guns. Its rimmed design ensured reliable extraction, making it especially suitable for traditional sporting firearms widely used across Germany and continental Europe.

This inert specimen features a brass cartridge case with a clear RWS headstamp, confirming its authenticity and manufacturer. The cartridge retains its original form and finish, displaying the quality workmanship typical of RWS production. Its clean profile and identifiable markings make it an excellent example for collectors and calibre reference displays.

The round has been professionally deactivated and contains no live primer or propellant, making it completely safe for handling and display. A desirable addition for collectors of German ammunition, sporting rifle cartridges, or historic European hunting calibres.
